Growth Mindset

This year we will be focusing on practicing a Growth Mind Set.  Growth Mindset is believing that you can improve through hard work, persistence, and determination.  It's realizing that there is "No elevator to success, you have to take the stairs."

Happy New Year and Welcome Back

As we start a new year and continue our journey through fifth/sixth grade, I challenge each of our students to set goals that are specific, meaningful and motivational, as well as achievable.  Athletes, business-people, students, as well as other people in all fields set goals.  Setting goals will help our students stay focused, organized, and  move us forward.  Goals give their educational journey, a purpose.  Once progress begins to show, it boosts confidence and gets them excited about what comes next.
