Principal's Message

To Our Community,

To Our Community,

We at Jordan would like to extend a warm welcome to our families that make up our school community. Our goal at Jordan is to provide all our students with challenging experiences that promote academic, social and emotional growth. All staff members strive to create a school culture in which all students feel welcome, respected, and cared for.

Strong parent support and involvement are a cornerstone of our success. We look forward to having our volunteers back on campus once health and safety allow. Until that time, one way you can support our school is by joining the Jordan PTA. I highly encourage you to do so.

Jordan Elementary is proud to be the home campus for the Lowell Joint School District Dual Immersion Academy. Currently the program is offering Spanish immersion to approximately 140 students in grades TK through 4th grade. We look forward to growing our program by an additional grade level over the next two years.

Jordan is pleased to offer a variety of afterschool activities for our students. Some of our after school clubs are Cross-Country Runner’s Club, Ballet Folklorico, Horizons for Gate and High Achievers, and Homework Club.

In closing, I would like to say what a privilege and pleasure it is to serve as Jordan’s principal. I have an open door policy, so please feel free to stop by my office with any questions, comments, or concerns. Thank you to all who make Jordan a great place for children!

Warmest Regards,

Marikate Elmquist, Ed.D
